It’s just a name. It started with wanting to make and sell crafts online. I make crafts, only I sorta suck at making crafts. So, I figured I’d better call them “Derpy” something… I’m not sure where the owl came from really, except the kiddos elementary school mascot was an owl. The point is, this website is a mish-mash of things, none of them really having anything to do with owls. It will serve as 1. a blog for posting of my thoughts, feelings, rants, and other scribbles; 2. a storefront for sale and distribution of whatever type of goods I see fit to produce and sell; 3. whatever kind of creative outlet I decide this is going to be as I go along. So, stay tuned, because this is either going to be fun, or enlightening, or a complete train wreck… Regardless, it’ll be something to see. -RW
